By now it’s no secret that my right hand man, John, and I like to keep our mugs full.  Well technically, we like to empty them too.  If you’ve been keeping up with the Beer of the Month, you’ve seen (and hopefully tasted) some of our favorite brews.  As it turns out, many of our fellow fantasy football cohorts share our appetite to seek out the best beers of the world.  With the lockout now a thing of the past, it’s only a matter of time before “expert” fantasy football drafts start to surface.  So while you’re preparing for your league’s draft, we put tog

As you probably heard, the NFL Lockout could soon be coming to an end and everything in the world will be right once again.  There will be a ton of free agents as soon as the smoke clears, so I will give you a low down on some possible destinations for those IDP’s.  There are quite a few of Pro Bowlers; but don’t get too excited as I expect them to re-sign with their current team.  I will mention several IDP Free Agents that more than likely will not re-sign and look elsewhere for work.

Let’s take a look at some of the DE/DT positions.

Similar to the quarterback rankings, the “early/preliminary/can we get some free agency?/let’s do some for the hell of it” running back rankings are broken up into 3 categories.  For lack of originality (though one could make the case that it’s completely original when applied to football), boxing terms fit the bill for describing how I feel about each of these classes of running backs.  Note that these rankings assume a full point per reception (PPR).

It's a weird time. Generally, we're hearing about rookies beginning to shine at OTAs and giving us some glimpse of what the future of our favorite team will look like. The first wave of free agency would be in the books in year's past, and we'd have a better idea of how teams will shake out. That was then, this is now. Hopefully an NFL CBA will be reached soon, but in the meantime, some leagues march forward.  So with the iron-clad, league manifesto on parchment-roll-leagues that MUST have their drafts early in the Summer, what's a fantasy geek to do?
